Verizon Wireless has just announced that the BlackBerry Classic will be landing on February 26th! The Classic on Verizon will come in at $99.99 with new two-year activation after $50 mail-in rebate debit card and will be available on Edge as well. Interestingly enough Verizon is charging more for the device, then AT&T is on contract. It will be available online from their website on the 26th, but will land in stores on March 5th.
The Classic is going to back to BlackBerry roots and it does resemble the BlackBerry Bold. It is running BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 and has a 3.5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core-processor, a 2500mAh battery, and features 16GB of internal storage. You can expand the internal storage with a micro SD card and MORE Everything customers will get 25GB of Verizon Cloud storage for free. The BlackBerry Classic will be running on Verizon’s fast 4G LTE network and is an XLTE enabled device.
