Showtime is joining the likes of HBO and Sling TV, they are answering the call of the cord cutters. Showtime is going to offer an online streaming service starting this July. Like HBO Now, their first partner will be Apple and they are keeping the same name, SHOWTIME will be launching as an iOS and Apple TV application. The service will premiere on Sunday July 12th and will cost just $10.99 a month. While it will be launching exclusively with Apple devices at first, SHOWTIME is saying that additional platforms and providers will be coming soon.
The service will give subscribers a ton of content to watch and enjoy. You will have access to every season of SHOWTIME’s original series, movies, documentary and sports programming, as well as live access to both east cost and west coat feeds of the channel.
You can go to showtime.com now, to sign up to be notified about the service and if you sign up through Apple in July, you will get a 30 day free trial to the service. SHOWTIME will be launching on July 12th and will cost only $10.99 a month.
