Verizon is offering customers more way to gain access to their 4G LTE network. This time they are adding the MiFi 4G LTE Global USB Modem U620, it is not a mobile hotspot, but instead USB modem that plugs directly into your computer. This new USB modem is available from the carrier today. The MiFi 4G LTE Global USB Modem U620 will cost $0 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new contract.
The MiFi 4G LTE Global USB Modem requires no setup, you just simply plug it in and will start the network connection. It has some security features built-in like VPN support and IPv6 support. In terms of connectivity, inside it has LTE Bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 13, as well as the UMTS/HSPA+ 850, 900, 1900, 2100 bands. The device can be added to a More Everything plan for $20 a month, and can work with an International Plan for $25 a month for 100MB.
