Samsung’s next galaxy devices are here, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5. Verizon Wireless has kicked off pre-orders, and in fact Luke Bryan was the first person to pre-order the S6 Edge+. He did it in person at the brand new Verizon Wireless Smart Store in Herald Square NYC! The carrier kicked off pre-orders on August 13th at 3PM, the same day there new Simplified Data Choice Plans were launched.
On Verizon both the S6 Edge+ and Note 5 feature LTE Multicast, Advanced Calling, and of course the lightning fast Verizon 4G LTE network. With LTE Multicast companies can distribute the same content to many users, and as a result, customers can see high-quality content with no lag. The first content to use LTE Multicast will be dropping later this year. And of course Verizon is known for speed and reliability, and you will certainly get that with the carrier.
The Galaxy S6 Edge+ on Verizon will cost $32 a month for 24 months or $768 at full retail price for the 32GB variant. The 64GB variant will go for $36 a month for 24 months and $864 at full retail. The Galaxy Note 5 on Verizon comes in at $29 a month for 24 months and $696 at full retail for the 32GB model. While the 64GB model comes in at $33 a month for 24 months or $792 with no-contract. The S6 Edge+ is available in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum, while the Note 5 will come in Black Sapphire and Pearl White.
The Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 on Verizon will officially be launching on August 21st, but you can pre-order now! Also, if you really want to see the devices in person, starting on August 14th select stores will have them on display. Stay tuned for our full review of the S6 Edge+ and Note 5 on Verizon!
