Apple wrapped up their Let Us Loop You In event just about an hour ago. They unveiled new bands for the Apple Watch, new software updates, and much more. But, they did some new hardware including the iPhone SE and a new 9.7-inch iPad Pro. And it turns out that both of these devices will be coming to Verizon.
The carrier has not yet announced exact pricing or availability as of yet, but both the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro will be available for pre-order on March 24th 2016 which is this Thursday.
The iPhone SE is a new smaller 4-inch iPhone, that looks similar to that of iPhone 5 and 5S. It comes in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Grey. It is powered by a A9 processor and a M9 motion processor, along with the same 12 megapixel camera that is on the 6s and 6s Plus.
The new smaller iPad Pro packs all the hardware and design format of the original device, into a smaller 9.7-inch display. You also get a new 12 megapixel camera on the back and a new Tru Tone Display.
Laura Merritt, a Verizon spokesperson had this to say about the launch of the iPhone SE on Verizon:
Verizon will offer iPhone SE, the most powerful phone with a four-inch display, beginning on March 31. Customers can order iPhone SE beginning on March 24 at www.verizonwireless.com. For more information on iPhone, please visit:www.apple.com/iphone.
NJTechReviews will update this post once exact pricing and availability has been announced.
