The big launch day for the 9.7″ iPad Pro is coming tomorrow, March 31st 2016, just a day before Apple’s 40th birthday. The device is launching on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. On Big Red the new 9.7″ iPad Pro will be running on their lighting fast 4G LTE network. The device is officially launching tomorrow, but pre-orders started for the device last Thursday.
It appears that Verizon is shipping the devices next day with FedEx, as shipping notices started going out this morning. On Verizon the device starts $30.41 a month for the 32GB model, $36.66 a month for the 128GB model, and $42.91 a month for the 256GB model.
The new smaller iPad Pro packs all the hardware and design format of the original device, into a smaller 9.7-inch display. You also get a new 12 megapixel camera on the back and a new True Tone Display. The key difference between the 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch model, is that the smaller also only has 2GB of RAM in comparison to the larger model with 4GB of RAM.
