Sprint has had an interesting few months, but their network is still top-notch in comparison to T-Mobile and Verizon. But they do offer a good plan for the price and operate two no-contract carriers underneath the main arm. Today, Sprint announced they are adding the ZTE MAX Xl for $192 with commitment or rather at manufacturer suggested retail price.
The ZTE MAX XL is not a new device but has been available on Boost Mobile for quite some time. On Sprint it will be an HPUE device meaning that it can connect to an LTE+ network for faster speeds and better connectivity. Granted this network is not a full-blown change and is similar to XLTE on Verizon or the new AWS spectrum on T-Mobile. It packs a large 6-inch IPS Full HD Corning Gorilla Glass touchscreen display.
It packs a large 6-inch IPS Full HD Corning Gorilla Glass 3 touchscreen display with a 1920 X 180 resolution. ZTE has opted for Android 7.1 Nougat with a customized user interface. Powering the ZTE MAX Xl is a 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM. A 5-megapixel lens is on the front for selfies, while the back has a 13-megapixel shooter. ZTE has chosen a 3990mAh battery inside, and it is paired with 16GB of internal storage with a micro SD card slot. ZTE’s MAX Xl is available from Sprint today for $192 with no commitment.
