Apple’s 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro launch day has arrived

Apple had its more hardware focussed WWDC in recent memory last Monday and just over a week later, that new hardware is starting to rollout. The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro and refreshed 12.9-inch iPad Pro are now available in-store, as their launch day has arrived.

Online orders officially started shipping yesterday, so some lucky customers will be receiving today, and Apple stores everywhere should have them on display and in-stock. The 10.5-inch iPad Pro in WiFi comes in 64GB for $649, 256GB for $749, and a 512GB for $849–LTE variants are $129 more than the WiFi variants. And if you want an iPad Pro in Rose Gold, you have to get the 10.5-inch variant. The 12.9-inch is a bit more expensive at $749 for the 64GB, $849 for the 256GB and $949 for the 512GB–Similarly the LTE variants are $129 extra on each of these price points.

The new iPad Pro’s feature a 64-bit A10X Fusion chip with an M10 coprocessor embedded, a primary 12-megapixel lens with optical image stabilization, a 7-megapixel front facing lens, four speakers, and larger batteries. The 10.5-inch variant has a 2224 X 1668 resolution Retina display with 264 pixels per inch display. While the 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a 2732 X 2048 display with 264 pixels per inch. Both iPad Pro’s have a ProMotion technology which enables a 120hz refresh rate.
