Finally, T-Mobile has updated its iOS application with Touch ID support thus making it incredibly easy to log on and view account details. The application has been seamless in the past, but this addition of Touch ID is a welcomed one. The application has been slightly redesigned as well with a new store locator feature and the ability to shop directly inside.
The update is rolling out for iOS customers today and should be available as an updated. It will prompt you to add Touch ID for login upon launching the updated application. The shop feature allows you to view upgrades quickly and to see prices for your account. But it should be noted that it is not a full featured store by any means. It will highlight featured products, and through filters, you can generally find the product you are looking for.
From a customer support angle, the new in-app messaging allows you to get the answers you need on your own schedule. As you can start a chat but pick it up at a later time. And if you’d rather talk with a customer support agent on the phone, you can schedule a call.
