Verizon Reveals Motorola XOOM Pricing
Today Verizon came out with the official press release for the Motorola XOOM. The pricing isn’t that bad for what you get with the unit. If you buy the unit without a contract, it will cost you $799. However with a new 2-year contract it will be $599. 3G service will start at $20 a month for 1GB. They also say, “The Motorola XOOM will be upgradeable to 4G LTE service at no additional charge in the second quarter of 2011.”. So there will not be a 4G Version of the tablet. The Tablet is built to run 3G and 4G. This is a very nice feature. It is also the only tablet yet, to be running Honeycomb. It is the Android OS(Operating System) that is built for the tablet. This tablet is going to be amazing. Be sure to let us know if you are going to get one of these.
