Today AT&T has announced that on April 16th, 2013 you will be able to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S 4. With this announcement AT&T’s continues their legacy of being the first to offer the latest and greatest Samsung Galaxy devices. The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 will cost $249.99 to pre-order, this is interesting as past Galaxy devices came in at the $199.99 price point. I am assuming this price is for the base model with 16GB of internal storage, we are awaiting a response from Samsung/AT&T. We will be sure to update this article when we hear back. The Galaxy S 4 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD 1920 x 1080 441 pixels per inch display. It has many new software features like Smart Pause, Smart Scroll, Story Albums, S Voice Drive, S Translator, Air View, and many other features. On the back you will get a 13 megapixel camera with LED flash, while a 2 megapixel camera is on the front. You can record with both cameras at the same time and record sound when you take a photo. In the US it will have a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy S 4 is going to be coming to market at a very competitive time. It will be in direct competition with the HTC One and this will be launching in April at around a $199.99 price point. The BlackBerry Z10 landed last week on AT&T as well. AT&T certainly has a big smartphone lineup, with many new additions arriving quite soon.
