Seidio’s Prototype Galaxy S 4 OBEX Case And New Accessories For The Convert Case Holster Hands-On!

NJTechReviews stopped by Seidio’s booth at the 2013 CE Week in NYC! They had their full lineup of cases on display, from the Active line to the OBEX! We also got a sneak preview at their new OBEX case for the Samsung Galaxy S 4! Keep in mind that what we saw is a prototype, but it will eventually make it’s way to the market. Seidio’s OBEX brand makes your phone a super phone. It can withstand drops, water, and most of the elements. You get a screen guard that is 4H rated scratch protection and it will not interfere with using the touchscreen on your device. Waterproof membranes are built-in and it meets the IP68 rating. The S 4 OBEX case meets the MIL-STD-810F Drop test and it has been tested from 6-feet drops! At the same time you get all of this protection, the case is still very stylish and does not interfere with you being able to use the device. The second new product that we got to take a look at where several new accessories for the Convert Case Holster line. Derek Kelsheimer of Seidio was kind enough to show us the many accessories for the Convert Case Holster. Including a new prototype for a Bike Mount, that will be coming soon to market. It is a great solution for mounting your smartphone to your bicycle handlebars, this way you can use navigation and many other applications. The holster simply clips on to the bike mount. We also took a look at the car mount, that is currently available, it is a great solution for using your smartphone for navigation in the car. The Convert Case Holster also works with a few clips that can rotate a full 180 degrees. You can see our video hands-on with the new Convert Case Holster accessories below!
