Google and HP have unleashed the Chromebook 11 and this is the new entry-level Chrome device. It truly is meant for everyone and is very affordable at just $279.99. It is available today from the Google Play Store and comes in a wide variety of colors. It has a design that is similar to that of the Chromebook Pixel. It has a durable plastic build and it is super light at 2.3 pounds. It is not super thick at 17.6 millimeters. It comes in your choice of the main color being solid black or white with an accent color. The design is very clean you will not find any screws, vents, or speakers on your Chromebook 11. In fact your speakers are built-in to the keyboard and it provides some nice sound. A 11.6-inch IPS display is on board and it features 176-degree viewing angles, a 300 nit screen, and 60% color gamut. 16GB of physical storage is included, but you do get 100GB of Google Drive storage for 2 years with the purchase of the Chromebook 11. There is both a WiFi and LTE version, however pricing and availability of the LTE version has not been announced just yet. The LTE Model will utilize Verizon’s LTE network and will include a SIM card slot. Not only do you get the Google Drive storage, but a 60 day free trial of Google Play Music All Access and 12 free GoGo Inflight Sessions are included as well. No longer do you have a certain way to charge your laptop devices, the Chromebook 11 can be charged via micro USB cable. This means you have one standard cable that can get the job done. In terms of ports you get 2 USB ports, 1 micro USB port, and a headphone jack. For speed you get Exynos 5250 GAIA Application Processor with 2GB RAM and a 6 hour 30 Wh battery is on board.
