Acer Expands It’s Chromebook Lineup With The C720P-2600!

Acer is kicking off it’s 2014 Consumer Electronics Show news by expanding their Chromebook lineup! They have just announced the C720P-2600, this brings a new color into their lineup. Acer already offers many Chromebooks that feature touchscreen displays. The C720P-2600 comes in a Moonstone White, which complements the design. It keeps the design simple, as the entire body is white and from any angle it looks great. It is very portable at only 2.98-pounds and 0.78-inches.

Acer made sure this new Chromebook has some nice hardware, to match its great design. It has a 11.6-inch LED back-lit display with 10-point multi-touch and a 1366 X 768 resolution. Like the other Chromebooks in the C720 lineup it is powered by an Intel Celeron 2955U processor with 2GB of RAM, it will give you a very fat experience. It will also give you a longer battery life, around 7.5 hours according to Acer. With any Chrome OS device, most of your documents will live in the cloud, as WiFi or connectivity creates the full circle experience. However, many of these applications can now be used when you are offline and they live on the computer, luckily Acer included a 32GB SSD inside. For video chatting through Google Hangouts, a Webcam is built-in. With the purchase of the C720P-2600 you will get 100GB of Google Drive storage and 2 free Gogo in-air internet passes.

Acer Expands Touchscreen Chromebook Line with New Color Offering

LAS VEGAS, (Jan. 3, 2013) – Acer America today extends its touchscreen Chromebook line, with a new configuration in a new color – the Acer C720P-2600 in Moonstone White.

The striking Moonstone White chassis complements the sleek design of the C720P-2600 Chromebook. The entire chassis is white, giving the device a consistently stylish look from any angle. In addition, customers will enjoy the benefit of touch on the device’s 11.6-inch HD LED back-lit display to do more with Chrome apps, media, games and more.

The 10-point touch display allows customers to interact naturally with the device, using gestures such as swipe, tap and pinch to zoom. This enhances the experience with apps, websites, Google Docs, games and more to make Chrome even more intuitive and personal.
