Ubisoft has always taken good care of the Tom Clancy series and franchises, last year we saw the announcement of Tom Clancy’s The Division, a next generation title. The Division, a classified unit of self-supported tactical agents, becomes activated and put into action after a series of events hits New York City. As the tagline put it, “when society falls, your mission begins”, this tile has made a lot of fans who are eagerly awaiting the release. Surprisingly, the development team announced today they are delaying the launch and availability of Tom Clancy’s The Division to 2015. This is not the only title that Ubisoft has delayed, Watch_Dogs, another popular title, was pushed back as well.
No reason was given for the delay of The Division, they did say that they want to thank fans for their expect ion support and that they are very excited to show us more at the upcoming E3 conference. They want to make sure they don’t compromises the quality of the game, they will release it when it is ready. Hopefully, this will be the first and only delay for this title. It is still set to land on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC, but the time frame has changed, it will be coming in 2015. You can see the statement and a gallery below.

An update about Tom Clancy’s The Division
Agents,
Today we announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready.
We want to thank you again for the exceptional ongoing support. Community is at the heart of what we are doing and we’re very much designing the game with you in mind, so your involvement means a lot to us.
The production is getting stronger every day and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to at this year’s E3.
Massive love,
The Dev Team
