Samsung has just announced that the Galaxy Tab S is landing sooner than expected in the United States. At the NYC launch event, we were told that it would be coming in July, but it will be landing on June 27th 2014! Pre-orders have been available from Samsung directly and other retailers, since June 13th. The Tab S represents the new flagship line of tablets for Samsung. It comes in two distinct size the Tab S 8.4 for $399.99 and the Tab S 10.5 for $499.99. Both the 8.4 and 10.5 come in either dazzling white or titanium bronze. The white variant does have a gold edging around it and is similar to some other devices on the market, including the Galaxy S 5. In fact the Tab S line looks very similar to the Galaxy S 5. Coming later in 2014 the Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 will be coming to AT&T with LTE, the 10.5 going to Sprint and T-Mobile, while Verizon Wireless will get booth the 8.4 and 10.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab S Available in U.S. Next WeekJune 19, 2014The Wi-Fi version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, announced at Galaxy Premiere, will be available in the U.S. beginning June 27 at Samsung.com, Amazon, Best Buy, Sears and other retailers. The Tab S has been available for pre-order since June 13.
The Wi-Fi version of the Tab S 8.4 will be available for $399.99, while the Tab S 10.5 will be $499.99. Both models are available in two colors: dazzling white and titanium bronze.
Consumers can visit select Samsung Experience Shops in Best Buy stores to see and test out the Tab S before they pre-order or purchase. Best Buy is the only retailer to offer a sneak peek of the new Tab S devices.
Later this year, the Galaxy Tab S will come to AT&T with LTE, Sprint (10.5) with Sprint Spark™, T-Mobile (10.5) with LTE and Verizon Wireless (8.4 and 10.5) with LTE.
