Microsoft had their keynote at the 2015 Mobile World Congress earlier this week, and Stephen Elop, the VP of Microsoft Devices Group, took the stage. As expected they unveiled two new Lumia smartphones at the event, and they are focused on affordability with the Lumia 640 XL and Lumia 640. These devices will also let you get stuff done, using Windows phone, plus they will be getting Windows 10 later this year.
The Lumia 640 XL is the larger of the two with a 5.7-inch HD display and it is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. This means you can edit documents and work on spreadsheets while you are away from your desk. Certain, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front camera, and on are board on the 640 XL.
The Lumia 640 is the smaller of the two with a 5-inch 720p display, and it is also powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. It features 8GB of internal storage, a micro SD card slot, an 8 megapixel back camera, a 1 megapixel camera on the front, and more.
AT&T will be the first carrier to offer the Lumia 640 XL and Lumia 640, they have not announced any exact pricing or availability just yet.
