Lenovo ushers in the next generation ThinkPad 10; Landing this summer with Windows 10

Lenovo is counting its first ever Tech World conference in Beijing and is counting to usher in new products, this time we have the next generation ThinkPad 10 tablet being unveiled. The next generation ThinkPad 10 is a follow-up to the popular and portable Windows tablet from last year. Lenovo has chosen to make several updates to the device including with performance, the ThinkPad Pen Pro, and by introducing several news accessories.

The ThinkPad 10 is a tablet that can work in almost any scenario, it features 10 hour battery life that can work both in the office and at home. It will be running the latest operating system from Microsoft, Windows 10 which is slated to be released this summer. It is being powered by an Intel Quad Core processor with up to 4GB of RAM and can be paired with up to 128GB of storage. You get a 10.1-inch WUXGA display with a 1900 X 1200 display along with Corning Gorilla Glass and 10 point multi-touch. ThinkPad 10 also features a 1.2 megapixel camera on the front, a 5 megapixel camera on the back, 3G connectivity, 4G LTE connectivity, a micro HDMI port, and more.

The ThinkPad Pen Pro now has a unique application built for it, WriteIt will allow you too write in normal handwriting and have it converted into any type of text of your choosing. It will make note taking during a meeting or a presentation a breeze. The ThinkPad 10 is quite powerful and does support several monitors. Lenovo has also designed several accessories including the ThinkPad 10 Quickshot Cover, the ThinkPad 10 Ultrabook Keyboard, the ThinkPad 10 Folio Keyboard, and the ThinkPad Tablet Dock.

The ThinkPad 10 pro will be landing worldwide this summer and will be starting at $549. The many accessories that Lenovo has designed for the device will land this summer as well and will start at $30 and will range in pricing.
