While Samsung spent most of them during their 2016 Consumer Electronics Show talking about SUHD TVs, a Family Hub Refrigerator, and many other items. But, the company did quietly unleash a Chromebook 3.
The Chromebook 3 is Samsung’s latest device running Google’s Chrome OS. This device is designed for portability, it comes in at 2.53-pounds and is only 0.70-inches thick. It features a 11.6-inch HD Anti-Glare display with a resolution of 1366 X 768 and is powered by a Intel Celeron N3050 processor with 2GB or 4GB of RAM.
The display it self has a 180-degree hinge which allows you to move the display for the best vexing experience. While you will find only 16GB of internal storage, most of what you do on the Chromebook 3 will be stored in the cloud. For a fast internet connection you will have WiFi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.0. You get a curved keycap keyboard and a 720p webcam on the top of the display.
While Samsung has not yet announced when the Chromebook 3 will be coming to market, it is being geared for both the consumer and business market. Samsung’s Chromebook 3 should be launching at some point this year. Plus, Samsung is saying that it won’t break the bank when it does drop.
