Samsung is finally releasing more information about their large Note7 Recall. Which is now an official recall here in the United States, after the government and several agencies urged consumers not to use the phone. The FAA even stated that the device should not be brought on airplanes– as of now 92 units have exploded due to the battery.
It would be right to say that this has been a rough time for Samsung and companies like Apple are taking advantage of it. Especially with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus having some robust features and better cameras.
Samsung is now saying that by September 21, 2016, most users should be able to take it to a retail store to get a replacement device. Users can get a refund at their point of purchase, exchange their device for another smartphone, or go into the store and exchange it for a properly functioning unit.
