USB-C is taking over, from new Windows computers to the new MacBook Pros. This versatile connection can be used for power, audio, data, and as a display cord. Lenovo’s latest ThinkVision monitors go full throttle with USB Type-C and have a sharp display.
Coming in with 23.8-inch and 27-inch display options, the ThinkVision P27H and P24H are relatively affordable. Both landing in April with the P24h for $259 and the P27h for $329. They both are QHD displays with a resolution of 2560 X 1440. Even better they are borderless, with an incredibly narrow bezel.
It is a one connection setup via USB C cable that can do power(up to 45 watts), video, and data. The monitor itself can act as a hub with 4 USB ports and 5-digital display ports. This means you can set up multiple monitors via an HDMI port or a display port. The display can pivot up and down, as well as side to side.
From a Mac perspective, the resolution is not as sharp as the LG Ultrafine displays, but they are more affordable. I am looking forward to checking out the ThinkVision P27h, and P24H come April.
