Lenovo is kicking off the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show early with several ThinkPad centric announcements. The ThinkPad 13 starts at under $700, precisely $674 and lands early next month.
Even with a small price tag, it is a well-built notebook. For starters, it has been updated with highly portable design at just 3.17 pounds. It comes in your choice of black and silver; both have military specification durability.
It is running Windows 10 Pro with the latest Intel processor– But a highlight here is the Windows 10 signature image onboard. You get a spotless version of the operating system that is meant to work swimmingly out of the box. This can be paired with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD.
Lenovo has also opted for a 13.3-inch FHD IPS touch panel and precision touchpads. The company is also going full throttle behind USB-C, and the ThinkPad 13 will charge via this standard. It also has an SD card slot, audio jack, HDMI port, three USB 3.0 ports, and dTPM 2.0 port.
The ThinkPad 13 will be starting at $674 when in lands in January 2017.
