When YouTube TV officially launched or rather started rolling out to select markets, it was missing a few channels that were announced back when the company first unveiled its TV streaming service. Well today, the company is making good on it’s promised lineup.
AMC, BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV, WeTV, Telemundo, and Universo have all been added to the platform. These additions give YouTube TV a better chance against the cord cutting competition, SlingTV and DirecTV Now, but also makes it a stronger alternative to traditional cable.
Throwing an unlimited DVR service, a simple user interface, and multiple streams at once make it a pretty good package at $35 a month. By the looks of it, the service will hopefully be rolling out more channels and eventually landing on more streaming devices in the coming weeks as well.
