Google I/O 2017 is well underway, and announcements are already coming out just after a few minutes. The technology giant has just unveiled a new feature coming to Gmail on iOS and Android, which will let you reply faster and in a more intuitive way.
Like with most of the announcements we are expecting today, Google is taking advantage of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Smart Reply has already been available in Google Duo and Inbox by Google. It lets you respond to back a message quickly, by choosing from up to three pre-determined messages.
Well, today, you can you will find Smart Reply in Gmail on iOS and Android. You will see the three suggested messages, and you can tap to send one immediately, or you can edit the message you have chosen. Since it is being powered by Machine Learning, it will get better over time as it learns more. Smart Reply in Gmail on iOS and Android is rolling out today.
