Lenovo has not made a Chromebook, until now. They have just unveiled the ThinkPad X131e Chromebook and it designed for school or K-12 education. A students laptop needs to be durable, as throughout the day it will go through wear and tear on a high level. the Lenovo ThinkPad X131e is “school-proof”, it has rubber bumper that goes around the top and the corners, and this will protect it if for some reason it drops. The hinges have extra strength to make sure they last for more than 50,000 open and close cycles. It is running the Chrome Operating System, which means you will have access to Google’s many applications for Education and the Chrome Web Store right out of the box. Students will be able to create slideshow presentation, view PDF’s watch videos, make spreadsheets, and edit documents. It features built-in WiFi and Chrome’s super fast start-up, this will let you get online in no time at all. If you want to plug it in to a TV or a projector, it has both HDMI and VGA ports. It has a 1.6-inch HD LED anti-glare screen and is powered by a Intel processor. It features a ow-light webcam and 3(three) USB ports as well. You will be able to get a tagging or locating service on it, this way if it is left some where you can retrieve it and it will come in many different colors. If you are buying them from an educational institution of school, you can get the name of logo etched into the device. It is very light at just 3.92 pounds and it still has a 6-cell battery inside. Overall, I am very excited about the Lenovo ThinkPad X131e Chromebook and I cannot wait to play around with it! Lenovo Introduces Rugged ThinkPad Chromebook for Schools

Throughout the course of a typical school day, students’ laptops are often subject to extreme wear and tear.
