Earlier today one of the most anticipated devices of 2014 was officially unveiled, that of course being the all new HTC One M8! This is the successor to the most popular phone of 2013, the HTC One. HTC unveiled the device at a NYC media event earlier this morning. It went on sale officially at 1PM Eastern today. It will be available from Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. It will be a Verizon retail store exclusive for two weeks, meaning that Verizon stores are the only locations where you can walk in and get the device. There is a Google Play Edition of the HTC One M8 and it is available now on Google Play. The Google Play Edition features all of the great hardware of the HTC One M8 and it gives it a clean operating system experience. So not HTC Sense 6 or BlinkFeed will be found on this device, it does however mean that you will get the latest and greatest Android upgrades much sooner. The device still features a 5-inch Full HD display, 32GB of internal storage, a micro SD card slot, 2.3GHz Quad Core Processor with 2GB of RAM, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Android 4.4 Kit Kat, 2600mAh battery, UltraPixel camera with a super sensitive BSI sensor, a 5 megapixel front camera, and compatibility with GSM networks. The HTC One M8 Google Play Edition will cost $699.99 and shipping times appear to be 2-3 weeks. Click Here To See The HTC One M8 Google Play Edition!
