Lenovo Unleashes The New Powerful A-Series Android Tablets!

Just moments ago, Lenovo unleashed it’s brand new A-Series lineup of Android tablets. These powerful new tablets come in a variety of sizes, thus allowing the consumer to pick the device that is correct from them. We have the A7-50 which comes in at 7-inches, the A8 at 8-inches, and the A10 at 10-inches. All of the tablets have an ultra-portable and powerful media performance in common, but lets take a closer look at the three models!

The A7-50 is the most affordable of the new A-Series, but it still packs a punch with features. Lenovo is saying that this device will be your on the go reading companion. It comes in at just 320 grams and only 9.9 millimeters thick. For reading, you get a 7-inch IPS 1280 X 800 HD display and it is capacitive touch. This will provide you with sharper images and some good viewing angles. The A7-50 is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with a Lenovo user interface, but an upgrade to KitKat is coming in the near future. This device is being powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor with 1GB of RAM. You will find 16GB of internal storage, but this can be expanded via micro Sd card slot. On the back of the A7-50 you will find a 5 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel camera is on the front. Coming in at $129.99 the A7-50 seems like a very affordable tablet with some good features.

Next up we have the new A8 tablet, which looks to add a larger display and more media savvy features. Lenovo is saying that this device will provide you total entertainment on the go. Like the other new A-Series tablets, portability is key and the A8 is no different, it comes in at just 8.95 millimeters thick and weighs in at 360 grams. It features a wide view 8-inch 1280 X 800 IPS HD display that features 10 point multitouch. Above and below the display are front facing Dolby speakers, this will enhance the viewing experience of the tablet. Like the A7-50, it is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with a Lenovo user interface out of the box, but an upgrade to 4.4 KitKat is coming soon. Powering the A8 is a 1.3GHz quad core processor with 1GB of RAM and you get 16GB of internal storage, plus a micro sD card slot. It also features a 5 megapixel camera on the back and a 4200mAh battery inside. The A8 comes in at $179.99 and seems to be geared for those looking for a portable tablet that can handle entertainment for a solid price point.

Lastly we have the head of the new A-Series lineup the A10 and this is the multimode powerhouse. You might have guessed it, but the A10 can be paired with a Bluetooth keyboard, which means this device is for both work and play. Portability is still in play with the 10-inch A-Series tablet is comes in at 8.95 millimeters and weighs in at 560 grams. It features a stunning 10-inch HD IPS display with the Dolby front facing speaker. Combing the HD 10-inch display with powerful speakers and stand, will make for an awesome viewing experience! It is powered by a fast 1.3GHz quad core processor and features 16GB of internal storage. It features Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with a Lenovo customized user interface, but an update to KitKat is landing soon. Lenovo is saying you will get around 8 hours battery life via a 6340mAh battery inside. The A10 is mixing productivity and entertainment with great hardware at a competitive price point of $249.99.

The new Lenovo A-Series Tablets will all be coming in May of 2014 and each fit a unique segment of the market. The A7-50 comes in for those looking for a simple and portable tablet that is reliable as well, plus at $129.99 it is very affordable. Those looking for an entertainment to go package will want to take a look at the A8, while those wanting a multimode productivity and entertainment powerhouse will look towards the A10.
