Harmonix is branching out into virtual reality, but they are putting a music twists on virtual reality or at least it appears they are. Moments ago they just announced Harmonix Music VR which will be exclusive or at least exclusive at launch, to the Samsung Gear VR. It is a new virtual reality music experience, that puts you into a music-driven dreamscape allowing you to experience your music like nothing before. It take advantage of Harmonix’s Music Analysis Engine which will generate specific event sequences to specific songs. You will be ably to enter a musically responsive environment and can choose from many different audio visualizations for your songs. Harmonix Music VR will be available when the Gear VR from Samsung launches later in 2014.
