Saturday Night Live has just announced that they will be closing out the 40th season with three epic shows, featuring newcomers and past performers. The next new SNL will be May 2nd, and Scarlett Johanson will be hosting the show for the fourth time. The day before she hosts, Avengers: Age of Ultron will be opening in theaters across the country. The musical guest on May 2nd, will be Wiz Khalifa who currently has the number 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100, “See You Again” which features Charlie Puth. This will be his Saturday Night Live debut and he will be on tour this summer as well.
On May 9th, Reese Witherspoon will be hosting for the second time, the night before her latest film “Hot Pursuit” will be opening in theaters across the country. Florence & The Machine will be musical guest for the third time and might be showing off a few tracks from their upcoming album “How Big How Blue How Beautiful”.
Closing out Saturday Night Live’s epic 40th season will be none other than Louis C.K. on May 16th! This will be his third time hosting the show, and for his first two he received Emmy nominations. He is currently in his fifth season of his show “Louie” on FX and has several stand up specials available online. The musical guest for the season 40 finale will be Rihanna, and this will be her fifth time being the musical guest! NBC and Saturday Night Live have already had an incredible 40th season and the last three episodes are shaping up to be just as good!
