UPDATED: Bruce Springsteen has officially announced set of new shows in the United States; Get the full story here.

Bruce Springsteen just wrapped up the first leg of The River Tour 2016 and will be off to Europe with The E Street Band until July! But, the rumor mill is kicking back up and again, The Boss will be coming back to the United States in the late Summer and early Fall for some shows!

This third leg of The River Tour will be announced most likely this coming Monday on May 9th or soon after. It will mostly be consisting of stadium shows, similar to what we saw in 2012. As of right now there should be a September 1st date at Nationals Stadium in Washington DC and a September 7th date at Citizens Bank Park in PA(Link to the auction here). The latter of these two dates was leaked out, as tickets to it were being auctioned off for Magee Rehabilitation Hospital.

The show will most likely be similar to the setup of shows in Europe, with not the full album being played, but with many songs from it being played.

We will update this post once the announcement is officially issued, which should come Monday, May 9th 2016, morning. We have reached out to Springsteen’s publicist and will update if we hear back.
