LG has already unveiled their flagship device, the LG G4, around a week a go, but today they are unleashing a more entry-level and affordable device. The LG Escape 2 is the sequel to popular affordable LG Escape. The Escape 2 will be coming to AT&T on May 15th and still lands in the entry-level and affordable area. At launch, the device will be available from both AT&T’s retail stores and their online stores.
The Escape 2 is running Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with an LG user interface. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor, along with a 2100mAh battery. You get 8GB of internal storage along with a micro SD card slot. It will be running AT&T’s 4G LTE network which will provide some nice speeds and great all around coverage. On the back of the device you will find an 8 megapixel camera.
AT&T will be offering the Escape 2 for $0 down at $6.00 per month for 30 installments on AT&T Next 24, $7.50 per month on Next 18, or for $9.00 on Next 12. The device will also be available on a traditional contract for $0.99 with a 2-year agreement.
