Lenovo is kicking off Lenovo Tech World with the announcement of three consumer oriented laptops. Lenovo Tech World is the first global technology innovation event to happen in Beijing. Lenovo has announced the new Z41, Z51, and the ideapad 100. These laptops are specifically designed for the consumer market and the ideapad 100 is for those who only need the most essential features. While the Z41 and Z51 feature an Intel RealSense 3D camera.
The Z41 and Z51 will be landing in June from Lenovo’s online store and in several retail locations. They are designed to work both in a home multimedia and entertainment use, as well as being able to perform in the office. The Z41 features a 14-inch display, while the Z51 has a 15-inch display and on both models the display is Full HD. Dolby DS 1.0 Home Theater comes standard and can be paired with AMD discrete graphics. They come with up to 1TB of storage and can be powered by up to the latest Intel Core i7 processor. They will come in ebony black, chalk white, or crimson red. The Z51 can have a Intel RealSense 3D camera as well, this unique technology can create new experiences for the user. The Z41 and Z51 will be available in June and will start at $499 or $599 respectively.
Lastly, Lenovo is offering the ideapad 100 in a 14-inch or 15-inch size. The new ideapad’s are designed for consumers looking for a laptop for the essentials. These new devices will work well for browsing the web, typing a word document, streaming a video online, and for creating content. The ideapad 100’s feature around a 4 hour battery, up to a 500GB hard drive, integrated Intel graphics, up to an Intel BayTrail-M N3540 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and either a 14-inch or 15-inch 1366 X 768 HD display. The ideapad 100 will be starting just at $249 and will be landing in June.
