Verizon is kicking off the summer, by adding a new device exclusively, and that is the Sony Xperia Z4v. This new device will give you the freedom to have fun in the sun this summer, as it is a IP65 and IP68 waterproof and dust proof device. And of course, if the device is on Verizon, you get access to their lightning fast 4G LTE network. While we don’t have an exact launch date for the device, it will be coming in either black or white, and in the meantime Verizon has launched a sign-up page for the device.
The front and back of the device, look quite stylish and are made out of tempered glass. It is powered by an outa core 64 bit Snapdragon 810 processor. It is running a Sony Xperia customized Verizon of Android and comes with around 32GB of internal storage, but you can expand via a micro SD card slot. If you have a PS4, you will be happy to know that you can continue playing from anywhere in your house via PS4 Remote Play.
The Z4v has a 5.2-inch Full WQHD TRILUMINOS with Live Color LED powered by X-Reality for much richer and more realistic images. You should get plenty of power to last the whole day via a 3000mAh battery. You can take some sweet shots with 20.7 megapixel camera on the back and can Snapchat selfies to all of your friends via the 5 megapixel lens on the front.
Lastly, as with most devices running on Verizon, the Xperia Z4v is running on the best network in the country, be prepared for some crazy fast 4G LTE and XLTE speeds. For now, Verizon is saying that the device will be landing this summer, but they have launched a sign-up page.
