Root Metrics has released there nationally and state ratings for carriers in the United States! Verizon Wireless has come out on top with the highest National RootScore! This is fourth year in a row that Verizon has come out on top and chances are they will get it again in the future. And for the folks in New Jersey and New York, you should be proud too, Verizon has been awarded the most reliable network certification. Which throughout our tests here at NJTechReviews, we whole heartedly agreed with this statement.
In fact when looking at New Jersey and New York specifically, they got the overall RootScore award, as well as top honors in network reliability, data, and call and tied for speed. The super fast lightning 4G LTE network from Verizon is not a myth, it consistently performs very well.
To conduct these tests, RootMetrics engineers drove over 6,000 miles and visited over 150 locations, they put all four of the top networks to the test. They tested out AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and of course Verizon Wireless on a nationwide scale, these numbers are just for this specific region.
Verizon doesn’t just make the network look good for these tests, they constantly enhance, upgrade, and make the network better. After emergency situations they are one of the first carriers to get back online, and in the New Jersey region along they have invested over $640 million. They also noted that specifically in this region they have seen data usage double from 2014 to 2015, and they have responded by rolling out the enhanced AWS 4G LTE spectrum, as well as upgrading and adding new data cells for the network.
Congrats to Verizon on winning the competition in New Jersey, New York, and across the nation!
