Expedia is making a unique announcement today, they have crafted an application that is just for Samsung devices. Introducing Expedia for Samsung which will be exclusive to Samsung devices, like Galaxy smartphones and Tab S tablets. It will still let you book travel and find some savings, as well as access all that the regular application has to offer.
In terms of differences or special features, there are really that many. Expedia is saying that Galaxy owners will get the best deals on travel and access to some exclusive deals that are only available in the Expedia for Samsung application. Samsung and Expedia have also setup a dedicated support team that will be accessible any time of the day. Lastly, you will find a curated travel-discovery experience as well.
It seems that they are trying to build an experience for Samsung customers, it will be interesting to see if Expedia moves forward in the future and launches applications exclusive for other devices as well. One final note is that you will get a sweet deal for downloading the application. After downloading the application you will receive $50 off your first hotel reservation over $250.
You can download the Expedia for Samsung application today via the Samsung + App Store. I fully expect to see Expedia put out more exclusive money off promotions for this app as well, so it might be a good one to download.
