LG finally confirmed the V10, a very rumored device and previewed the new Watch Urbane 2nd Edition. And today, at a press event in NYC they officially announced the device, even though they truly announced it last night. Good news for United States consumers is here, AT&T has confirmed that both the V10 and Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will be coming soon!
Ellen Webner, an AT&T spokesperson, has provided us with this statement,
“AT&T is excited to enhance our device options for customers with the addition two groundbreaking smart devices from LG Mobile: the LG V10 smartphone, and the connected LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE Android Wear smartwatch. We’ll have more information on pricing and availability on the V10 and LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE at a later date.”
It seems that AT&T is quite happy to be brining the devices on board and will give customers more options. They are also calling them groundbreaking devices, and that mostly goes for the LG V10. The V10 features a second screen or really a display within a display. You get a main 5.7-inch QHD IPS Quantum Display with 513 pixel per inch and a resolution of 2560 X 1440, but you also get a secondary 2.1 IPS Quantum Display with 513 pixels per inch along with a resolution of 160 X 1040. The V10 also has dual 5 megapixel cameras on the front, a 16 megapixel camera on the back, a 3,000mAh battery, 4GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 64GB of internal storage, and much more.
LG has announced that the V10 will be coming in Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue, and Opal Blue. It will be interesting to see which color variants will come to AT&T. No word on pricing over availability yet, but it should be coming soon.
AT&T will also be getting the latest smartwatch from LG and that is the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE. Not much is new here, expect that device has 4G LTE support inside and that it will work with iOS and Android. You also get a few new buttons and a sharper display. No word on pricing or availability yet for the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE as of yet, but it should be coming soon!
