Verizon has a trade-in deal for customers who want the iPhone 7

Customers can trade-in select devices for up to $650 credit.


Along with kicking off pre-orders at 12:01 AM PST and 3:01 AM EST today, Verizon is also starting a new promotion. New and existing customers to the carrier can trade in to get a 32GB iPhone 7.

Customers can trade in an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, or iPhone 6s Plus for up to a $650 credit. The 32GB iPhone 7 comes in at $649, and therefore this equals the cost of the new iPhone. You do need to purchase the device from Verizon, and the trade-in credit will be applied over the lifetime of the iPhone, typically 24 months. The device being traded in must be in good working condition with no cosmetic damages as well.

If you have a Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, Note 5, LG G4 or V10 and HTC One M9 Verizon will give you up to $300. While the Galaxy S5, GalaxyNote 4, LG G3, HTC One M8, Droid Maxx 2 and Droid Turbo 2 will be a $200 trade-in. Lastly, a Galaxy S4, LG G2, HTC One M7, Apple iPhone 4 or 4s, Droid Maxx and Droid Turbo will give you a $100 trade-in credit.
