Samsung has still not announced its home entertainment lineup or its upcoming SUHD TVs for 2016, although they have teased them for a few days. Moments ago, Samsung announced that they have received UHD Alliance Premium Certification for their entire lineup of SUHD TVs for 2016.

In order to receive this certification the televisions have to reach and perform to new standards. These standards are for picture resolution, HDR or high dynamic range, peak luminance, black levels and wide color gamut, and a few other metrics.
Specifically, Samsung’s televisions HDR capacity reproduction yet of natural light, as well as getting high marks in technological performance for the television. The upcoming lineup of SUHD TVs for 2016 will reduce reflections caused by ambient lighting, thus providing a sharper overall picture.
Seeing that Samsung’s 2016 SUHD TV lineup is getting such high marks, it will be great to finally see the TVs unveiled tomorrow at Samsung Press Conference.
