NJTechReviews gave Bevy the full review treatment a few months back, but today the company is adding some new features to the product. You might remember that Bevy is a unique photo storage solution, it is a physical device that has storage inside and it hooks up to the internet, to create your own cloud. Think of it like a own place to store your photos with plenty of storage and sharing opportunities. You can see my full thoughts on Bevy in our full review here. The product is not just for photos any more, Bevy has announced that video support is coming soon!
In fact, video on Bevy is now live, at least for some users. The company has already pushed out an over the air software update to the hardware component, so the next step is for customers to upgrade the software side. Currently, you should be able to upload videos to Bevy from your mobile device or directly by using a storage device and plugging it into the Bevy.
While the update for the mobile application has gone through, the Mac OS X and Windows applications have not yet. Bevy expects that these updates should be available within a week or so. Also, coming later this Spring you will be able to send videos from Bevy to your television for viewing. Bevy has made a quick video on this new feature, which you can watch below.
