Android Pay has done well and today a whole bunch of new users now have access to it. Google has announced that Android Pay is now available in the United Kingdom! Last year the mobile payment platform launched in the United States, and Google is saying that more countries are coming soon. They have also called the UK, one of the most advanced contact tless nations in the world, and Android Pay is going to be a solid addition.

Google’s payment service is quite simple, as all it takes is a tap of your phone on the payment machine. Android Pay will be available everywhere contact less payments are accepted including stores like Boots, Starbucks and Waitress. You will also be able to pay with your Android smartphone in the Tube with Transport for London. The service will also work with any contact less payment setup at almost any store.

Launching in the coming months, customers in Singapore and Australia will be able to use Android Pay.
