Google wants your help naming Android N

Name Android N

Google has already announced that Android N is launching later this year and they have put out an early beta version for developers. But the name is still unknown, not just to the public, but evidently also to Google. On stage at their I/O 2016 developers conference, the company has announced that they are taking suggestions. In that they are not sure what to call it and they want your help naming Android N.

Since Android N’s announcement earlier this year, rumors have been flying about the names. Many were thinking Nutella, but it almost seems to obvious of a choice. To help collect all of the suggestions for Android N’s name, they have set up a website. On the site they have a few suggestions that didn’t make the cut like Navy Bean or Noodle.

It seems that Google will be taking suggestions up until 11:59PM PST on June 8th, but you can get your submission by visiting www.android.com/n/. You can even see a video that shows pro’s trying to figure out the names, this should help to get the ball rolling on some ideas.
