Owners of the ZTE Axon 7 Mini are in for a surprise software update, as the Android 7.1.1 is being moved out of beta and into a full release. That is right; all Axon 7 Minis will get an over-the-air update Android 7.1.1 Nougat. A prominent feature for T-Mobile customers is the addition of WiFi Calling.

Additionally Android 7.1.1 Nougat introduces new Emojis and true side-by-side multitasking with applications as landmark features. I have personally loved using the new multitasking setup, as it makes it easy to search the web and communication over text with someone. Even better thanks to under the hood improvements, Nougat brings better battery life to Axon 7 Mini customers.

Axon 7 Mini owners will begin getting the over-the-air update this morning, and you will need at least 30% battery to start the install via a software update in settings.
