Nintendo’s NES Classic Edition was by far one of the most popular consoles the company has ever released and they screwed up the launch and supply chain logistics in almost every way possible. Well here’s hoping that they learned from their mistakes as the Nintendo Super NES Classic Edition has just been announced.
The Super NES Classic Edition will come in a miniature size but will look quite similar to the original Super Nintendo Entertainment System. But it will be updated with an HDMI port, that will allow you to connect it to almost any modern television. Even better you can get an HDMI cable in the box, along with two wired Super NES Classic Controllers. And hopefully, the length of these controllers are not comically short as the one included with the NES Classic Edition.
The game lineup for the Super NES Classic Edition is a solid one with 21 games included. You get fan favorites like Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart, Super Metroid, and F-ZERO. But the real story is that the Super NES Classic Edition will include the unreleased Star Fox 2, which was the never-released sequel to Star Fox which was a popular title for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The Nintendo Super NES Classic Edition will land on September 29th for $79.99.
