Lenovo’s FLEX 2 Laptops Merge Affordability With A Flexible Design And Great Graphics!

Lenovo has just announced the FLEX 2 series which contains two new laptops. They build off the already know FLEX name and enhance it, coming now in both a 14 and 15.6-inch models. They both feature two great modes and a full HD screen with discrete graphics models.  They will be landing in June and are an affordable laptop with some dual-mode features, plus great graphics are on board as well. Let’s take a closer look at the new FLEX 2 laptops!

For starters the new FLEX 2 series will start as low as $429 and for that price you are getting a dual-mode machine. It does lead you to ask the question, can your laptop FLEX? This allows you to use the FLEX 2 as a traditional laptop of in new exciting way that can increase productivity, plus with a 10 point multi-touch display these modes might even be more natural. It’s design looks like a traditional laptop, it features a keyboard and multi-touch trackpad, along with an optional cool metal palm rest. The change occurs when you flip the keyboard back below the screen 300° to transition into Stand mode. Stand mode will come in handy for giving a quick presentation on the go, watching a video, or even video calling. In terms of the color of the FLEX 2, the 14-inch model will be available in silver and the 15-inch model will come in black.

The FLEX 2 models feature full HD displays, in comparison to the models these are replacing, these are noticeably brighter. They feature a full 1920X1080 widescreen display on certain models and this can be paired with NVIDIA GeForce graphics on models with up to 4th generation Intel Core i7 or AMD RadeonTM R5 M230 discrete graphics and AMD APU processors all the way up to AMD A8 models with on-chip Radeon graphics. But the later of these graphics and processors can only be done on the 15.6-inch model of the FLEX 2. Either setup you choose, the new FLEX 2’s will be great for enjoying multimedia. In an effort to further enhance the multimedia experience, they will be equipped with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 technology. Lastly, in terms of storage you can get up to 1 TB of HD or hybrid SSHD storage or up to 256 GB SSD storage.

Overall, the new FLEX 2’s are offering an affordable dual-mode multimedia savvy laptops. Pricing for these models of the FLEX 2 14-in and 15.6-in start at $799 and $429, respectively.     Shaping Higher Performance

    Available in either a 14 or 15.6-in screen, the laptops take Lenovo’s family of dual mode devices to the next level with new design and performance features. The black or silver1 FLEX 2 laptops catch attention for their 300° rotation and their optional backlit keyboard, which finishes the look on this beautiful device.

    Inside the laptop, consumers will love the eye-popping visuals with a noticeably brighter full HD 1920X1080 widescreen display on select models. Users can choose NVIDIA GeForce graphics on models with up to 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors for a rich entertainment experience, making images in games and videos display quickly and smoothly. Or they can opt for models with dynamic AMD RadeonTM R5 M230 discrete graphics and AMD APU processors all the way up to AMD A8 models2 with on-chip Radeon graphics.

    Equipped with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 technology, the FLEX 2 laptops make sound from movies, games and music come across its stereo speakers louder with greater clarity, consistent tone and less distortion. And for users who like to video chat, the laptops come with an optional dual array digital microphone for truer to life calls when using the 720p HD webcam.

    The FLEX 2 further provides an overall better user experience over its predecessor thanks to several advancements for processing, storage and memory.
