The 2015 Mobile World Congress is now in full swing with new flagships and other devices from companies like LG, HTC, and Samsung. Earlier this morning HTC had their press conference and now AT&T is announcing that they will be getting the HTC One M9 and the new HTC Grip fitness tracker. No word on exact pricing or availability just yet, but it will be coming in the following weeks. HTC announced that the rollout for both of these devices would be in the early Spring, so they can’t be too far off.
AT&T is showing off it’s variant of the HTC One M9 and they are doing very little branding, only a small AT&T logo on the back. The new HTC One M9 continues the legendary design that the One line of devices is known for, but it adds several new features. They did do a small update to the design of the phone by making it a two-tone design. The One M9 features a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display, a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 810 octa-core CPU with 3GB of RAM, a 20 megapixel back camera, a UltraPixel camera on the front, 32GB of internal storage, a micro SD card slot, BoomSound with Dolby Surround Sound, AT&T 4G LTE connectivity, a 2840mAh battery, and more!
The HTC Grip is the company’s first fitness tracker and wearable device. It features a contoured design with a IP57 water-resistant coating. It has a small curved display that will you see notifications, quick stats, and control music. Plus, it is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, and works with the UA Record platform. It will be interesting to see how this device does, as it is entering a very packed market.
