It is the Fall and usually, this time, every year, Google unveils its Nexus smartphones. And while new smartphones are coming, they might not be under the Nexus brand. Google has sent out invites for an event on October 4 in San Fransisco, as well as a live stream announcement.
Google will most likely unveil two flagship smartphones, along with more information on DayDream VR and there chat app Allo. And of course, we cannot forget about Google’s much anticipated smart speaker, Google Home.
Regarding smartphones, it appears that Google is moving these phones to their Pixel brand. And you can expect to the see the Google “G” logo on these devices. Rumor has it that there will be two sizes, both made by HTC, with a sleek build and a solid camera.
The company also dropped a quick teaser video and unveiled a new “made by Google” website. Google will clear up all the rumors on October 4.
