LG is having its 2017 CES Press Conference right now, and robots are a big part of it. The company has just unveiled the Hub Robot, which is meant to be a smart home assistant. It can also be an entry point into a smart home, as it works with other connected devices.
While no pricing or availability was announced, in a brief video it can help you around the house. You can ask the Hub Robot to start an appliance or for information about your day. It seems to fit in with LG’s IoT future, for instance, they also are integrating Amazon Alexa into their Fridges.
The Hub Robot can play music to help you start your day or some nice peaceful music to end the day with. It can even know to start the vacuum robot once you leave the house or when you are done in the kitchen.
