Along with announcing the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition, Apple had a few other small updates to show off. The smaller 4-inch iPhone SE, that was announced last March is getting a storage upgrade. Beginning this Friday, March 24th, the iPhone SE will now be available in a 32GB size and a 128GB size.

This means that there will be no iPhones currently available that feature 16GB of internal storage. And this is good news for customers all around and solves a large pain point. And unfortunately, there is no (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition variant coming to the iPhone SE.

Even better there is no price increase for the iPhone SE, the 32GB size is $399, and the 128GB size is $499 off-contract. The device can also be purchased through carrier payment plans, as well ass the iPhone Upgrade Program.

The newly updated iPhone SE will be available from Apple retail stores and the Apple Online Store on March 24th.
