The Nokia 3310 is coming back with some modern upgrades

The Nokia 3310 was a brick of a phone and was one of the first modern mobile phones. And today Nokia is reintroducing the 3310 with some modern upgrades. Put simply, it has a newer design, a color display, good battery life, and is coming soon.

Nokia’s 3310 comes in Warm Red, Warm Yellow, Dark Blue, and Grey. It is thinner and lighter than before, now coming in at 12.8 millimeters thick. The 3310 has a 2.4-inch QVGA color display and is running an updated Nokia software. You get 16MB of internal storage plus a micro SD card slot to add more. It has a 2-megapixel camera on the back for capturing those important moments. It has 2G connectivity for calling and texting. Lastly, a removable 1,200mAh battery that has 22 hours of talk time.

The new Nokia 3310 will land in Quarter 2 of 2017 for €49 or $52 here in the United States.
