The Wonder Bar is a historical calling point in Asbury Park, featuring the famous Tillie graphic. Also, as you might know, this beach-town is central to the Jersey music scene and Bruce Springsteen. Moreover, his fans are diehards, one group of fans called “Spring-Nuts” has an excellent event taking place soon.
On May 21st, the “Spring-Nut Seaside Serenade” will be held at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. This is not just a meetup for members of the group, which is over 2,000 strong, but there will be music throughout the event. At The Wonder Bar itself, you will get food, drinks, and plenty of activities. While the Seaside Serenade will take place from 12PM-4PM, there is a unique tour before hand.
The original E Street Band drummer, Vini Lopez, will be joining Rock’N Roll tour guides for a stroll around the Asbury Park circuit. The full event will be photographed by a professional as well. Tickets for the “Spring-Nut Seaside Serenade” can be purchased through this Eventbrite link. The $60 price includes all the stuff mentioned above at The Wonder Bar, plus a commemorative t-shirt. Howie Chaz founded Spring-Nuts, and this event is organized by him along with Julie Sokol and Amy Kalman.
